The good and the bad

After living here for four years there are some good and some bad things about Lord Baron:
Good:
Big rooms: While it's not a palace, the rooms are a decent size. The bathroom is very large
Affordable: While in most places in the world, $1100 for a two bedroom is expensive, in this area it's decent
Convenient: Considering that you're a minute from the mall, RT 95, and RT 3, that's pretty darn convenient.
BAD:
Maintenance: When I first moved here and had a problem, it would be fixed within 48 hours. In recent years, it's taken as much as 4 months to fix something. I'm not talking about getting a rug cleaned. I'm talking about light switches not working when switched on and then getting super hot.
Office Staff: While I've heard complaints that they aren't nice, I've always been treated nicely. However, they really don't do their job. This links in with the maintenance issue. Sometimes they write things down and sometimes they don't. Meaning, you have a 50/50 chance of maintenance even hearing about it (and even then it'll take them months to repair it!)
Noise: Very thin walls, floors, and ceiling. I don't mind hearing a little bit from people next door. It happens. However, when you can hear the people BELOW you very well, that's a problem.
Smell: Due to a high volume of ------- and Asians living here, there are some horrible cooking smells constantly in the hallways.
Foreigners: Now, don't get me wrong, in general the tenants are very nice around here. However, there are A LOT of ------- here. And they stare at you like you're evil if you're white. They'll ignore you if you're trying to park in a parking space that they are STANDING in yapping away in to somebody else.
Kids/Teenagers: The kids are usually pretty good here except when the parents let them play in the street of all things. I can't tell you how many kids I've almost hit with my car after they've zoomed into the street on their bikes. Teenagers have only recently become a problem there and cars and windows have been vandalized due to them.
Pests: Bugs bugs bugs bugs... You will run into little tiny ones and big ones. There has been a cockroach infestation for a while in my apartment and the office just did a two second spraying and assumed that would fix it... guess what' It didn't!
Appliances: VERY old appliances with the exception of the dishwasher.
Parking: While there's lots of parking, they have cars there that have the 'Final warning, move this car or it will be towed' that have been sitting there for over a year (a year after they've received the notes). Parking can be a problem during heavy snow days and having cars that should have been towed in a parking spot is a pain.
FINAL SAYING:
If you are fresh out of college, a newly annointed bachelor, moving in with a buddy, or on a tight tight budget, move here. If you can afford more, do not move here. The only reason I stayed here as long as I did was for the affordability and the convenience. However, in the end, it's just not worth it
