convenient location, but a little expensive and old building

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2003
I lived at 100 memorial for 2 years.
Overall, i had a pleasant experience,
however i would just like to share
some pros and cons for anyone considering
living here.
PROS
----
-The location of the apartment is perfect
for anyone affiliated with MIT. You
are literally on campus.
-The staff is very warm.
-Many people from MIT (students, professors, employees)
-lovely view of boston skyline
especially nice for the 4th of july
fireworks
-quiet atmosphere
-has 2 parking garages
-monthly continental breakfast
CONS
----
-very old building, pipes had to be
worked on several times resulting
in mornings without water (poor plumbing
because of the age of building)
-no exercise room (not a big deal
though if work/study at MIT
-very poor heating can't adjust thermostat, no air conditioning (the summers are extremely hot in boston)
-had one incident with a mouse,
also had insect problem in kitchen
-cigarette smoke (from others apts) finds wayinto apartment through heater
and leaves a terrible smell in apartment
-very expensive because of its location
SUMMARY
-------
Nice place to live for anyone associated
with MIT, the staff is extremely pleasant.
The main complaints however are that it
is expensive and that the building is very
old.
