I and my wife have been renting the apartment for 2 years (2007-2009) at 37 Concord apt#6.
The apartment has 1 bedroom 1 bathroom 1 living room and 1 sun-porch.
The landlord, Mr. Harrison, is really nice; he helped us a lot.
When we have problems with lightings, maintenance, we just called him and he would come to help us ASAP.

I like the sun-porch where I can spend my dinner time with my wife during the Summer and Fall.
(Unfortunately, during the Winter it is too cold to have dinner there, so we move our dinner table in the living room instead)

The location of the apartment is really great. There is a bus stop just next to the house (30 sec walking). It takes around 3 min to arrive at Harvard Square by bus and 10-15min on foot. In my case, if planned carefully, I could go to MIT (Kendall Square) within 15 min.
Alternatively, you can use Zipcar which are located in the apartment parking lots, there are five cars stand-by here.

Though it is located near the street, I haven't heard much noise from the street.


In overall, I have been really satisfied with the apartment, neighbors and the landlord.
Though, in my opinion, there are still a couple room for improvement.
1. The ventilation system for cooking (I saw other apartments already have them but not at Apt#6 yet, maybe because of its lower price)
2. Heating system at the sun-porch room
It would be better if we can use sunporch room in the Winter. Now it's too cold to use it during Nov to Mar
3. Elevator
This might be hard to implement because it is a house. But if you want to move in with a lot of furniture up to 3rd floor, you should call a lot of friends to come and help.
