Best apartment I've lived in!

We just moved out of a 1 1/2 bedroom after 2 years, and I have ZERO complaints. Easily the best apartment building I have ever lived in (although a bit expensive, but that's Boston). The managment always addressed problems extremely quickly (they have a convenient online request system) and they are very friendly (I don't understand that earlier comment). The building is only a few years old (although build on a 100 year old factory, which give it a cool industrial feeling) and well designed, attrative, with large, high cealing rooms (some are like barns inside!). As long as you have an inside space, parking is convenient. Very quite, almost tomb-like, although we were located at the base of the garden, which is well isolated from the streets, so other parts of the building may not be as quiet (Binney street is pretty busy). Security is good with key card entry and someone always on duty, and I had no problems with their package policy (pick up from security after 6PM). Unfortunatley, Kendall Square is pretty boring (a few decent restaraunts--Blue Room is really outstanding--and the best art cinema in Boston, but otherwise office/light industrial). But you are only a five minute walk from the Red Line, which will take you into the city or out to Harvard Square in a flash. Central Square is about a 15 minute walk. Only improvements I can think of would be if they had washer/dryers in the apartments and they were on the waterfront. Highly reccommend!!!
