Auburn Court

I really do love my apartment (been living here for a couple years now). The size, quality, and location are all very unique and nice. However, you need to be aware that this apartment complex is extremely noisy. The neighbors are loud, disrespectful, and yes, very ghetto as others have mentioned here (As a black male, I was hoping that by moving to Cambridge I might not have to deal with same old tired posturing as found in other parts of Boston. Man, was I wrong).

I would love to recommend this place if it weren't for Auburn Court's policy of anything goes when it comes to noise. Unless you have an extremely high tolerance for bass-shaking music permeating the grounds at all hours of the day (ie. deafening home stereos, amplified boom cars blaring in the parking lot) then you may want to look elsewhere.

It's a shame because this place could be wonderful if only management would enforce the rules better or implement a better system for dealing with noise complaints (the current system is a joke).

Despite their infective dealings with noise complaints, the management is always very nice and the maintenance staff does an excellent job keeping the grounds looking good.
