I can say that I too am a bit discouraged regarding the recent changes in rules surrounding the features at Cambridge Park apartments. However, it is fairly obvious to me that the tenants, our neighbors, have warranted this change. I pay a higher rent to face the courtyard/pool area which is often overrun with children, intoxicated adults, and overall disrespetcful people. I support the decision made to 'police' the common grounds. Frankly, finding a building in Boston with a pool and a gym is a rarity today. I am happy to have these features available to me, and not my neighbors ten nieces and nephews.
Yes, the cable/internet company could use some upgrades.
I have lived in my apartment since the building went up and experienced a variety of growing pains, including the former management. I have seen a dramatic turnaround.
Commuting is a cinch! I work in the Brookline medical area and take the T straight in. And the 24 hour concierge' Please, it's like having my own second set of hands.
I am in the process of buying a home in the Waltham area and my necessity for a rental will soon come to an end. I would, however, recommend rental seekers to visit this property.
