The 3 BR units are a good deal. The 2 BR units are too expensive. Their website lists all the units and their starting price, but when you discover the actual availability, the price is several hundred dollars more per month! Avoid using a broker for this and their ads, they are not up to date or reliable. Deal direct with the building.
Pros: look at the website. All good things, and great location. I had good experiences with mgmt, they were on top of things.
Cons:
1) Street noise. Because it's so central, it comes with all the outdoor noise of the city: sirens, honking horns, buses, subwoofers, shouting, etc. Friday and Sat nights expect significant noise (bass) from the salsa night at the Greek American Political Club. Note: if you live facing Magazine Street or Green St, you will have significant bus noise from 5am - 1am. All this noise is the worst when you have to keep the windows open before and after the A/C works. (they run it from June 1 to Mid Sept). Other than that the noise is manageable.
2) Indoor noise: can be very very very quiet. But even with the thick walls and floors, you can still hear noise from neighbors. But nothing like living in a wood-frame triple decker! But, avoid living near apt 811, they make TONS of noise with kids and bouncing balls!
