I must say first, i actually love my apartment-- it is not in horrible repair. That said. They have the most incompetent staff I have ever encountered in their Cambridge office. I couldn't get keys to my apt. until 5 days after my lease started. When I went in to pick them up (finally) they basically asked why I was being such a pain in their butts. Go figure, I wanted to get into a place I was paying for! They also have never provided us with a key to our mailbox so we broke the hinge in order to get the mail. They do not fix things upon request and at time fix things not requested.
After a long weekend away, my roommate and I returned to find our apt deadbolted. This was strange as we did not have a key to this lock so we clearly could not have done this ourselvs. Therefore someone had been in our place. After denial by them, a call to the police and them finally changing the locks, it turns out the handyman had fixed something in our bathroom that wasn't broken by accident. He was supposed to have done it in another apt!!
