I have lived in one of their Stoneham House apartments for two years now and they seem like fine landlords to me. In my experience they don't deserve the bad rap they are getting on this site. However, maybe the building i live in just has a better property manager. The insulation and heating isn't very efficient, but i get to set the temperature and they pay for it, so what do i care. They allow cats and all size dogs, which is great. And they have plenty of parking. The only maintenance problem i had was with the kitchen faucet that needed replacing - it took them about a week to address it, but it wasn't an emergency and they had some heating to fix which in February i agree has higher priority than my kitchen sink. If you want super great maintenance, go pay an extra $1000 a month some where else. For the money I pay, i am very pleased with the size, quality, maintenance, and amenities of my apartment.
