Convenient but noisy

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2002
Apartments are very, very convenient - close to supermarkets (5 to chose from), the T, clubs and bars, Charles River and Boston. Apartments are large, airy and have been recently painted and recarpeted.
Flip side is the noise - residents playing futbol in the apartment upstairs, a drunk bingo games next door, noisy party in apartment on the other side, loud, ------ brit-pop from apartment below. Lots of construction work in the neighbourhood.
Probably not the best of places to live if you work nights and require quiet during the day to sleep.
Apartment managers aren't very receptive to maintenance requests - took more than a year to repair problems with stove. Maintenance requests left with rent cheque are ignored (while cheques are cashed). Phone calls are not acted on; they seem pretty receptive when you show up in person, tho'.
Rent has increased every year at KBL. Parking may be an issue - after hours parking is available at Shaws (next door) for $90 a month or $210 a month for 24 hours parking per month.
