This property is poorly managed. It's not just a matter of enforcing policies -- the property manager may arbitrarily choose you or your family members for her bullying behavior.

The random quality of management behavior is particularly disturbing -- you can pay your rent, but if somehow you hit one of her hot buttons she will make your life miserable. (For instance, suppose your aunt moves in and you start to visit her regularly, this will upset the manager immensely.) Even if the property manager doesn't take out her frustrations on you, you may easily witness her bullying the leftover low income tenants (from the days when this was a HUD building, although she has evicted most of them and seems intent on evicting and/or making life miserable for the few remaining). She also verbally berates the immigrant maintenance staffers on a regular basis.

Office services are poor. The business appears to hand pick staff with subpar client service skills.

My own mother parked out front one day and the manager literally shouted at her for assuming she could wait a few minutes for me. This was when I first moved in and didn't realize I would have to warn my mother about the staff. Do you really want your guests to be treated this way' (And, by the way, you get to pay a luxury rent to gain access to this verbal abuse.)

We moved out last year into a non-luxury apartment. I love it. It's peaceful, no bizarre harassment. I'm sorry I ever paid a month's rent at Parkside, what a waste.

Everything word of information this individual says is true. And folks or individuals just don't make up these stories for publicity. I had a experience with the manager Barbara. I use to reside at parkside place, formely 700 Huron Ave. It's a shame; that building is located in a nice part of Cambridge, and yet you have a manager who is so arbitrarily a person whom has no respect. This review gives you the inside insight on Barbara White, the manager of Parkside.The experiences that this individual experienced, so have others who live or have lived there.Some tenants are so frighhtened of her, that they avoid her, and others even find that hard to do. You don't have to do anything to the manager, she has this alien personality, and she singles out certain individuals or families if they dont meet her critique or persona.In addition if you are paying your rent and bothering no one, and not destroying the property, she has no right to inter with your personal liberty.Yet she does. I wouldn't advise anyone to move into Parkside place,until she is removed or resigned. The comments on this site are very true, and very real.No one is trying to give Parkside Place a bad rap, it's the staff that is giving the building the reputation that it has.Parkside Place doesn't deserve a 50% rating. The rating is over exgerratated by those tenants who pay marker rent, then they find out later down the road, that the manager is not the nice polite person that toured them through the building. What goes around comes around, and what is thrown up, always come down. apartment renters when you read this review,beaware. . She gives First Reality the persona that she is doing a good job,Wrong. they don't care; because if they did, they would stop it. She tells them untruthful stories about the particular tenant or tenants to cover her own self. What a shame. shame, shame, there have been so many reviews on this site concerning Parkside Place. A beautiful area,a dishonest and dis repectful manager, who thinks she is doing a great job, because she impresses First Reality Management to think she is. One day the chips are going to fall on the manager. She thinks she is indispensible from being terminated.
