Nice place to live, I am sad to leave

We are living at this apartments from last 2 years.

The apartments are really maintained well. Property is always nice, well maintained. Walking distance to Canton Center train station and every thing else on Washington Street. There is a very tiny gym and pool in the property, but we never used them.

Parking, we get one assigned uncovered spot in front of the building. My husband has to park way out in a different street, that was hard in winter. There are garages available for rent, but it is $150 for month, we thought that is too much for us. Another drawback is, train runs right behind our apartment, at first this was little hard to get adjusted to, but now I hardly notice it. Having train in our backyard comes with a patio with nice view of woods (and of course, passing train), but I prefer that than patio facing parking lot.

Inside the apartments, there is full size washer and dryer, water (for fire) sprinklers, CO2 monitor in the unit. It is very well laid-out floor plan, plenty of storage.

When there is a problem with the apartment and we make a call to Maint and leave a message, they always took care of it with in a day. And because both of us work, they leave a note saying they were inside our apartments.

There are some mishaps through, once the fire alarm in the building went off, and drove us to insanity with it's constant beeping because it didn't got fixed for a week. It is not in our apartment, but it is in the building and we can hear it every time I open the front door, or in the living room with TV off. Another one is, when Bay State gas people came to replace something, they did their work and asked us to call the apartment maintenance to let them know that they need to start something to start gas again. That particular maintenance guy we spoke with was clue-less, I don't think he even speaks much English, he told us and then the Bay State Guy that every thing was set. We went out for the day and came back at night to find out the house is ice cold, it was middle of winter. Apparently, the apartment maintenance guy was suppose to do something, but he didn't know that. They didn't fix it until the morning, the apartment office people called to apologize next day, but at that point we were pretty upset.

These are the only 2 things I can think of that went wrong in 2 years. But there are plenty of positive things. Every time we walk out of the apartment, the hallways are always bright, clean. Street lights are lit, snow removal is done very promptly, there are always seasonal flowers and plants around the property. The ladies at office are always nice and friendly, they hold the mail packages if we get something, answer questions, once or twice I needed to print something, and they let me use their computer to print it. I always felt safe in the apartments, walking out side the apartment, or walking to and from train station to the apartment (which I do in spring and summer).

Lots of our friends live in and around Canton in apartments. I can tell you that Waterfall Hills at Canton is one of the best places to live in Canton.

We got professional cleaners come and do the move-out cleaning, now I have to wait and see how much of my security deposit I get back. I will update the review once I get it.

Whos writing this stuff? I moved this year lived under old owner ship Archstone and they were great. Every tenant you would talk to outside would not have one nice thing to say about propery manager and staff so are we not telling the truth or are mean people? I think not!! She is very rude along with some of the office staff under her. Get old property manager back she was great to deal with and she now works for Chestnut Hill Reality at a different location..
