Luxury: I think not
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 10/6/2003
Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
We lived at Constitution Quarters for one year. This building is absolutely not worth the price that is charged for rent. We lived in a studio, which was ridiculously priced at $1500. We had continous problems with the Heating/AC systems. The AC systems produced incredible amounts of water in the apartment. The water leaks were so bad, I thought we would need a sail boat to moved about the apartment. This building charges expensive rent simply because it is in proximity to Flagship Wharf, which is truly a luxury building. The management is very very bad. The rental agents tried to ripped us out of our security deposit. The 24 hour security is sleeping at the desk at 2am. The security personnel stoled UPS packages. The fitness center equipment is bad. The equipment looks as if it is from the early 70's. The parking is okay. The street parking for guests is very difficult. This is not a luxury building. I have lived in luxury buildings in San Francisco, Chicago and Miami, this building was not luxury, where some residents hung sheets to the windows. The maintenace promises to fix the problems but they lie and perhaps they will show up 5 days later.
