The best part about this place is the location -- very close to the harbour. Also, a terrific commute if you work in the financial district (you take the boat to work in under 15 minutes!). Some of the apartments also have great views. Overall, the big selling point is that you live in a very quiet, hassel-free area that is very close to the heart of the city. The downsides are that the area is very quiet, which can be nice, but can also be annoying if you like to go out without driving. Since the boat stops running at about 8, and the closest t stop is about a 15 minute walk, sometimes you can feel stranded. The building boasts "security" and the security seems to be getting better, but often its is still possible to just walk right in and never be questioned. Keep in mind that the building used to employ, and maybe still does employ, the infamous Argenbrite security company responsible for the sorry security at Logan airport. Finally, the management company is fairly sad -- very ineffective about getting back to you unless you put up a big stink. The squeeky wheel really does get the grease here. The gym is decent but small.
