I moved in with my boyfriend in June. Before we signed the lease we were told that the carpets were going to be replaced. That was total BS, when we moved in the carpets were still disgusting and the manager "Eddie" said he was not going to replace them. He said this after we had already signed the lease. We pay almost $350 for 2 parking spaces, last week the garage door broke and it isn't going to be fixed. Well, management says that they are going to fix it "Right Away", but when you talk to the doormen and maintenace people they say that the door needs to be replaced and it won't be fixed anytime SOON! So essentially management lies ALL THE TIME! Stuff breaks in the apartment all of the time and they do nothing about it, you call all the time and they just lie and say someone will be right up to fix it. NO ONE EVER COMES!! The pool is gross too. It is green and gross, the lawn chairs are falling apart, both elevators are broken right now. It's just a bad building and for $1875 a month for a 1 bedroom I expect more than lousy service!!!! Oh yeah, did I mention we have ants the size of dogs running around!!!
