Property is a little older, but located in a residential area just south of the intersection of Rt 4 and 110 and 129 in safe and quiet community. Shopping is literally less than 1/4 mile down the road. Staff is excellent: paint, pest inspections, shoveling, all done regularly and responsiveness to our concerns is the norm. Rent has not increased at all for current residents in three years. (I have read other reviews of properties about rent going up each year'' not here!) Pool is well maintained and even though there are some children in the complex, we often have it to ourselves on Saturday afternoons! Most other people here are extremely nice and helpful (I have locked myself out a few times and neighbors have been great in lending me a cell phone or a place to wait for staff to arrive to let me back in.) Property manager Ed is an honest, friendly and helpful guy.

Update May 2005: It is with much disappointment that I amend this review. Since Ed's departure, the Coach/Carriage House has changed. The rent was raised for the first time in several years, not that I mind it so much as not getting any notice that after several years of flat rates, that it was going to change. It is now overcrowded and loud. There is no room for any cars, people park on the edge of the lawn and prevent others from exiting; there are several tenants who sit out in the courtyard until 1-2am and talk loudly with the sounds reverbrating around the interiors. I have made calls to the new manager about the noise and other issues without reply. They did implement a "parking sticker", but I haven't seen much effect. The property is now merely average, fine if you realize that, a definite disappointment for those of us who knew it used to be better. We will be leaving at the end of our lease term.
