I lived in a studio at this place for a year. Whatever you do, don't get a unit next to a stairwell. The walls are very poorly insulated and you hear every little noise. People are coming and going at all hours in this place.

The units use electric heat which I thought would be a problem. Turns out that the electric bill was only $45/mo which didnt seem unreasonable. I like it on the cold side so your mileage may vary.

One huge problem at the Meadows is kids. They play in the parking lot with their bikes. Teens hang out all hours of the night. One game they like to play is lets steal tire caps and other doo-dads off peoples cars. I caught one of them on video tape. Not sure if his mother was more pissed at the kid or me for taping her kid. Other than the ghetto kid messing with cars the place does seem pretty safe overall.

Management at the Meadows seems to turn over every 4 months so they are pretty much useless. The maintenance people seem to be on top of things however.

Here's something else they won't tell you at the open house. They like to raise the rent big time each year. They wanted me to pay $875/mo up from $800/mo. On a whim I decided to call them on the phone pretending to be some joe wanting to rent a studio...they quoted me $765/mo over the phone. I had a buddy call them same price. When I confronted them they denied it 100%. I said no way and moved out.

This place does have one thing going for it, location. Right off Rt3 it an easy comute to 128 or Nashua.
