We moved into our place last year in the Fall and we actually thought it was a beautiful place considering they allow dogs and not too many places do. Now that we have lived their for awhile it is not a fun place to be. We do have a private entrance and we hear all the noise from upstairs and the apartment beside us. Maintenance takes their time coming to fix an issue.. The bugs are really bad especially the flying ones. The parking is so bad that you have to park so far away from where you actually live... We are not very happy tenants and the price for these apartments is crazy, definitely not worth what they are asking.

what bugs? maybe you dont empty your trash often enough or maybe you leave your deck door open. i suggest you do a good spring cleaning immediately. i have lived there almost a year and NEVER had a problem. as far as plowing, would you rather get up an hour early and shovel yourself? outside lights are ALWAYS on. there are NO ghosts, spooks or ghouls wandering the halls and grounds. i like it here. thumbs up.

To the person who posted the 6/28/2009 comment in response to this review; you're full of crap and your probably a member of Danver's Moron League aka the Avalon Danver's Leasing Team! I hope you sleep well at night after a hard day of slinging over-priced slum apartments all day. Also are you aware of the ridiculous, fraudulent "damage" charges that you charge tenants with when they choose to not renew at your sub-par community. Keep it up, I smell a class action lawsuit in a couple of years.
To potential tenants; don't let the "new" construction and spacious apartments sway you. The places are built to the shoddiest of standards. You'll face ridiculous utilities bills and will be able to hear your neighbors every footstep. Also enjoy feeling the drafts coming through the the gaps in your doors or windows while the wind blows up on hell-hole hill.
Additionally, when you leave your windows open you can hear routes 1 and 95 loud and clear. I lived on the side of the community furthest away from them and I could still hear the humming and buzzing of trucks and motorcycles!!
Also enjoy seeing police cruisers constantly and make sure to remove all valuables from your vehicles. Your friendly bi-lingual, gov't subsidized neighbors love nothing better than to borrow your Ipod and GPS without your consent.
To sum it up; DON'T RENT HERE!!!!

i so agree! this avalon is the worst! and the management eam is horrible! it is probably gorgine writting that it is great! NEVER MOVE HERE! YOU WILL REGRET IT! I KNOW I DO!
