We moved up from North Carolina. I was extremely nervous to live in Dorchester because of the previous history it had, but this area is great. I am a 23 year old female who is scared of everything and I am completely comfortable walking around this area alone. I spoke with several people who lived in the building before moving in and no one said anything bad! It is always quiet (almost too quiet)! They just changed management companies the week we signed, Beacon Communities is fantastic! During the paperwork and approval process, we got phone calls and emails constantly, letting us know the status of everything. Parking lot across the street is huge and never full. The street typically has spots open too! The maintenance is very efficient and is quick to fix and help out! They even helped us get our furniture in the building! Amazing old building and the entire area is full of charm and brick! The new management company is renovating the building and the plans look great! The building is old, and the kitchen is a bit dated, but the historic charm of the building and area out weighs that completely! There is a large laundry room in our building, and there are always stations open. There is a T stop (Milton Stop) 15 steps away. It's so convenient. You can walk to the Grocery Store (it could use some updating!) There are local restaurants all around and the community is very friendly. It is very scary to move 16 hours, but I couldn't be happier with where we are!

I agree....since new management has taken over great things are happing including switching to gas! The place is coming along great! I'm excited
