Dangerous Atmosphere, Rude Management and Harassing Security Officers

If you're looking for trouble, enjoy losing money and like being harassed and taunted by security, move to Harbor Point. Formerly Columbia Point, a government sanctioned housing project, nothing much has changed. A few layers of paint and some flowers has not changed the underlying reality of the Harbor Point Community. I moved in with an open mind and really attempted to embody the atmosphere, the people and area. The management is rude, uneducated, and are trained to get as much money from the residents as possible. Security is laughable, for they park behind buildings at night (namely behind South Point Drive, I've seen it) and SLEEP. I've been taunted and jeered at more times than I can count, and often walked with pepper spray for fear of being assaulted. The Boston Police come in faithfully once a month always looking for criminals residing there. The security has lied, the management has lied, and the leasing office has lied. I was duped, dissapointed, and the only positive reviews you will read on this site are strategically written by the management.

I would probably taunt and jeer at you too, you sound like one of those dirty people who brought in the pests and blamed it on the complex itself.

I was curious to see if Columbia Point was still around. Looks like nothing much has changed since I first visited that complex in 1976. The hallway & elevator reeked of urine. The apartment was clean but it still didn't keep the roaches from running freely. Looks like 30 years later nothing much has changed.
