I rented at Spruceknoll for a very short time - during that time, there was two unauthorized entries into my apartment. I had to purchase new clothes b/c the washing machine actually "ate" them - there were holes in my shirts and pants. The water was also shut off with no notice.

I do agree that there is plenty of room for kids to play (and there are A LOT of kids) but they choose to play in the parking lot, darting between cars. They really should use some of the funds for a playground so the kids would be less apt to play in the parking lot where they can get hurt if they are not paying attention.

There are positive things about this place - it is off the main street, it is easy to find, the neighbors and maintenance staff is friendly.

If there are a lot of kids here they are hiding them. I also had what I thought was an unauthorized visit but when I called the office Kathy explained that she had reminded me when I signed my lease that if there is a water or electrical emergency and they can't reach me they enter because it is for the good of the whole place and I agree. Not sure what building you were in but the washer and dryer in my building are brand new and work fine. No place is perfect but I have to say for apartment living this is the best I have found.
