Odd Dynamic

I feel its just an odd dynamic they have at Maverick Landing. I currently live there and also pay $1800 per month. I feel that the Management company, although they have been very accomidating to my needs, should let potential renters know of the various income levels of the tenants. I think when you first move in and fall in love with the views and ammenities, its great. But then when you realize that 75% of your neighbors are only paying between $150-$300 A MONTH for bigger apartments then yours, you start to wonder whats really going on. I feel they should give the potential tenant the opportunity to make a decision based on all the facts instead of getting them to sign a 13 month lease and find out later. There also seems to be a lot of kids that just hang out and are very loud to all hours of the night. There is a big lack of security in this location as well. You will see one security guard MAYBE do a walk around once in the course of the night, but thats it. Overall, I feel safe, but other times, I feel like as a hard working individual that enjoys his home time, it sometimes gets tough with all the noises. A persons home should be where they can go to feel safe and unwind, but some days that is impossible with the the dynamic of different income levels and obligations that the tenants have.

I agree. I don't live there, but I'm a resident and property owner in East Boston/Maverick Sq. area. I love the neighborhood, but anytime I drive by there, I see a lot of rather unruly low life kids out there who are pretty loud. I'd be prettyy peeved if I was paying that kind of $$ to live next to that.

I'm sorry to hear the disgust that each of you feel about living in the Maverick neighborhood, but shame on you for not investigating your $1800 a month rent, Maverick Landing used to simply be referred to Maverick Housing Projects! Where did you think all of the original inhabitants went when your upscale, ultra-expensive apartment was built?
