I've rented through Autumn Properties for about a year and have been very satisfied. I've lived in several apartments in the area in the past and Autumn Properties are by far the nicest and most well-maintained. I live in a one-bedroom apartment in Easthampton and it is HUGE and AWESOME. We have a giant kitchen (such a rare find in apartments!) and a large deck with a view of the Manhan River. It's in a wonderful location right near downtown, down the street from a local grocery store, about a mile from Eastworks, 7 minutes from Northampton, and close to nature and parks. And at $675 a month, this place is a total steal.
The noise level is dead quiet. This is the only apartment I've lived in that actually has walls that are thick. I often forget we have neighbors. We live right next to a major road and yet our apartment is as silent as a morgue.
Insulation is very good. We barely put the heat on and the place heats right up. Electric bills in the winter from the electric heat were still through the roof despite that, but at least the heat you're paying for stays IN the apartment unlike many places...
Nothing in the apartment seems to break, which is new and wonderful to me! Every other place I've lived at has been cheaply made and the place falls apart in a few months. We've only had to call maintenance once and that was for an extremely minor problem with the dishwasher when we first moved in. They came over and fixed it the next day. Quick and easy.
Staff has been wonderful. They're always friendly and professional. They're very flexible and do everything they can to fulfill your needs.
My only complaint is the washers and dryers could use a serious upgrade. They're ancient. The dryers don't dry anything and the washers are noisy and shake like they're having seizures. However, there are about a five laundromats within a mile, so it's not such a big deal.
