Shibley Court Apartments

Eh. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/6/2008 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2008   The maintenance here is lazy. I had to call out of work one time because it was more than 24 hours before they plowed, I couldn't get out of the lot. The owner has a plow but apparently does contracting with it before taking care of the apartments first. The maintenance crew is either untrained in plowing or needs a new plow because all they do is flatten and compress the snow into an ice rink. I complained again and they said "What can you do'". They really said that. That is their attitude when something takes more than 2 seconds to fix or might cost them some money. Salt is too much to ask so we can be safe I guess. They raise the rent every year and we see nothing for it. Nothing is improved or updated, the maintenance gets worse every year. There is garbage all over the parking lot. I actually stepped on a used condom. The laundry is very old and outdated. Half of the machines are broken and barely hold a basket of laundry. They cost $1.25 and I have to run two washes to fit a basket and two drys because they work so poorly. It's not the worst place but it needs a lot of work. Utilities are included but even with that it's too pricey for tiny very outdated apartments.
