I miss Pinetree Gardens

This review is about Pinetree Gardens, which is owned by Mayfair, but is down the street from Putnam Village. It is at 101 Chestnut St.
We lived at Pinetree Gardens for about 6 years I think it was - we moved to the Seattle, WA area in May because of a job offer my husband received. While I never had any complaints about Pinetree while we lived there, I now realized how spoiled we were by it - our current apartment is horrible.
I always felt safe at Pinetree, and the community itself was extremely quiet. Our building was in the very back, so we were quite a distance from the main road, which wasn't terribly busy anyway. The grounds were well kept, and maintenance requests were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The storage space in the basement was a wonderful bonus as well. The rent did go up a little bit each year, but it was never a huge amount. I think it went up a grand total of less than $100 in the 6 years we lived there. Heat and Hot Water was included.
I won't go into comparisons with where we are now, but if you look up Woodlake Apartments in Kirkland, WA, you'll see lots of bad reviews.
The only complaint I think I could make was that snow removal wasn't as efficient as I would have liked. A number of times I would come home from work during a snowstorm, and the plows hadn't even been through to do an early clear. While I can appreciate that Mayfair has three complexes to deal with, it was difficult pulling into my (assigned) parking space when there was a foot and a half of snow in it, especially since my space was on a slight hill. I assume that they preferred to wait to do all the clearing until storms were over, but it seems like it would have been a good idea to do early clearing even while it's still snowing, especially since during the day the parking lots were often quite empty. Well, at least I won't have to worry about that issue in the Pacific Northwest, where they don't usually get more than an inch of snow ever. ;)
Anyway, if I could choose today, I would move back into Pinetree in a heartbeat. It was a great place to live while I was there.
