The new management blew it!!!!

I lived in Bayberry Hills Estate for 4 years. It used to be a nice place to live when it was owned and managed by Flatley Company. However, I had no choice but to leave this place due to AMICO's poor service and management. There are so many examples just to name a few:
Lease agreement: A new penalty clause has been added to the lease agreement by AMICO stating a $50 penalty charged will be fined to the tenant if they do not pay the rent by the 1st day of every month and additional fine per day thereafter. I confirmed with the consumer bureau of the State of Massachusetts that this condition is illegal and no interest or penalty should be charged to the tenant for the first 30 days of the rent past due. I reported it to the Attorney General's office and Framingham City Hall.
Rent increase: AMICO has so many hidden tricks to attact new tenants while the existing tenants have to suffer high rent increase. To attact new tenants AMICO offers tempting promotions such new free first month, free storage, etc however after the first year the rent increase is substantial which will cover the benefits they offered to get you in. I lived in a two bedroom apartment and the rent was increased to $1550 whereas a new tenant moved in right across in another two bedroom apt only needs to pay $1299 with free storage.
Parking: Flatley renewed new parking sticker/permit every year and applied strict pre-caution to any visitors without stickers but AMICO does not give out new stickers ever since they took over and could care less about the security of the property.
Garbage disposal: Ever since AMICO owned this property I am very concerned about the sanity and cleaniness of the area. Garbage does not get picked up for a long time causing germs and disgusting smell in the area. Hallway, elevator and laundry room is messy and dirty.
Management staff: The only thing the management staffs care about is how to rent the vacant apts. They do not care about the concerns of the existing tenants. You will never have a chance to speak to the property manager even if you requested it.
In general, I highly not recommend Bayberry Hills Estate. You deserve a better place and service given the money you spend. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH
