Good Enough

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2007
I lived at Bayberry Hills for 3 years and found the apartments good enough. We did experience some drawbacks though as detailed below.
The location is extremely good - you could walk down to Walmart or even the Logan Express, if you have light luggage. Good restaurants and grocery stores (Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Stop & Shop) close to the place and easy access to 9, 90, 30 and 126. During the initial years, I made use of the pool tables in the club house. But unfortunately, maintenance of the cue sticks etc. wasn't looked into. So I stopped playing. The tennis courts in the complex are pretty ok. They used to have free tennis clinics every year too. The swimming pool is pretty big. Overall - nice amenities.
The laundry machines on our floor gave us problems at times - and sometimes, they remained unresolved for several days. But you do have access to other machines located 2 floors above or across... so it wasn't all that bad.
One major issue we faced one of the years was the fire alarm going off at odd hours of the night. That was a major inconvenience. Parking is adequate enough... but, did face rare problems finding a spot (if you get home after midnight). Snow removal in winters is usually good. Fellow residents were mostly quiet and friendly enough. And I felt pretty secure living there.
The management office is, serviceable, at best. They were pretty good earlier.
Overall - I think it's a decent enough place to live in.
