I find it almost amusing how ridiculous some of these complaints are. I've lived at Bayberry for almost a year and a half, and I love it. I'm looking for a new apartment now because my roommate is moving to Maryland and I can't afford the place on my own. But I've been looking around sadly the past couple of weeks, not looking forward to having to leave. Now don't get me wrong. A lot of the problems other people bring up are true. The office is particularly ---- about stuff on the balconies. Although I got special permission to keep two bikes on mine. Parking is atrocious after 10 PM. There was some mold in the master bathroom of my apartment when I moved in, but I called the office and someone was there to take care of it that afternoon. Actually, for that matter, every time I've called with a maintanance request, they've responded within 24 hours. Having FIOS and the new windows installed were kind of a pain, but at least they're making an effort to evolve. The apartment itself is lovely, if a little outdated. My bathroom is a horrible shade of yellow, but then the complex was built in the 70s, so what can you do' People broke down the back gate frequently, and especially all last winter. But it was always replaced shortly after it was broken.

I guess my ultimate point is that, if you want to make your own rules and your own decisions about what happens to your home, go buy a house. There isn't an apartment complex I've ever lived in or heard of that's absolutely perfect. And as I was reading these complaints, I was surprised by what others considered deal breakers.

On a different note, I do completely agree with any complaints about a certain blonde individual in the office whose name begins with an "M." Total condescending b*tch. I just hope she's not around when I need to call or drop by. I've managed to largely avoid her in my time at Bayberry, and I completely recommend this complex to anyone
