No place is perfect. Bayberry is close enough.

I've lived here for 3 years and I'm quite satisfied. I live in a 2-bedroom unit on the third floor; it's quiet and the electric costs are minimal. In summer, we pay no more than $50. Even during the coldest winter months, we didn't pay more than $150. Snow removal is good. We have had several occasions to call maintenance, and they have been very responsive; they even clean up after they finish the work. The on-site hair stylist is one of the best, and that really surprised me. The management personnel are truly among the worst, but you can usually avoid or ignore them. My neighbors are quiet and friendly. Some residents have lived here 20 years or more, and they do say that the quality is not what it used to be. Naturally, a few residents can be annoying, but thankfully those don't seem to stay long. I'd recommend that to preclude problems with pests or water leakage, you avoid the first couple of floors and definitely don't take a unit near the laundry rooms or rubbish rooms. (We are in a wooded location so you've got to expect an occasional pest sighting.) You will have higher electric bills with the top floor, so you might want to avoid that, too. For the price and convenience, I think living here is a bargain.
