I have just found this website recently and have been reading the reviews & I am horrified by some of these reviews. I have lived at Edgewater Terrace for 4 years and feel this is seroiusly one of the nicest apartments in this area and they are NOT more expensive than any one else. My apartment is huge. In fact when I was looking for apartments this was largest I found it is something like 1000 square feet.
The rent is no more than the other apartments I looked at. I pay my own heat & utilities with electric heat and I have the ac units in the wall which work very well. I am not sure how the heat and ac is in the other building so I can not review it. The building is ALWAYS CLEAN the other tenants are quiet and mind their own, no one has ever been rude to me. The office is helpful and friendly. They did increase my rent after my first year but it was like $10 dollars they have not increased it again, actually they have given me free rent twice since I signed for another year. May only be a free month but thats fine by me. I appreciate things like that unlike some of the other ungrateful people who reviewed.
I felt a bit upset when I read the review FASHIONABLY OVERPRICED and others like that review! I just want to say that I think you barely reviewed the apartment and you are ignorant. All you did was complain about the Indian Culture that has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE APARTMENT BUILDING OR THE OFFICE STAFF! You could of kept all that to yourself it was not important to add on this website. This is a huge apartment building and their is all types of people of different cultures and backrounds if you can't deal with that then go buy a house out in the middle of no where, so that you have no neighbors and no one surrounding you whose food or smoke will bother you. Overall this is a great place. Take it from someone who is open minded and is a honest reviewer.
