Lived here for over 2 years.

They promised a referral bonus of $2008 which is still yet to be seen. I've gotten over 6 excuses now which basically contradict eachother. Anyone else not getting their referral bonuses' Post here.

Also, this place thinks it can save money by installing new low flow toilets and shower heads. While understandable they way they did it was horrible. Basically we would get like a half day notice that our water would be shut off. This happened several times! When it was turned back on, there were problems with leaks from above apartments that left our stuff soaked with toilet water twice! Very very nasty.

The funny thing is that the new "low flow" toilets get stuck and the water keeps running. So much for saving on water. BTW, when they swapped out the toilets, they basically just ripped up the floor and put the new toilet in. Now theres a nasty hole surrounding our toilet.

Also they haven't opened up the pool WHICH IS ONE OF THE AMENITIES WE PAY FOR! Their excuse is: can't find maintenance, can't find lifeguards, blah blah blah. We don't care. We are paying for something you aren't providing. How would they like it if we said, "Oh, we can't find money to pay the rent, we'll get it to you as soon as we find some."

I think we should get some of our money back.

IF YOU EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH REFERRAL BONUS OR ARE PISSED ABOUT THE POOL AND OTHER THINGS, EMAIL jefferson.terrace.resident@gmail.com. LETS STOP WHINING AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT -- REPORT THESE GUYS.

Thank you for writing this. We live here also -- thankfully we live on the top floor and did not experience any flooding problems. But we totally agree about the toilets and showerheads. We have a big nasty ring around the bottom of our new toilet where there is no tile because of the lousy way they decided to install them. The lack of maintenance is turning this place into a slum. 2 years ago this apartment building was clean, efficiently maintained, had standards, and professional clientele. The difference between then and now is night and day. Also, they got rid of the security guards who used to patrol the place at night, and the crime has gone up. Just this week I observed a car with a smashed window as I was headed to work, and we've had multiple notifications about people's cars being broken into. Our lease is up at the end of the summer, and we were planning to renew for one more year. However it is very likely now we will not be renewing and will move out because this place is no longer a nice or safe place to live.

One year back this place was so good.Jefferson has messed it up totally.I tend to agree with the above reviews.Even we had the same problems of holes around the toilet. The maintainence crew says they cannt fix it.Did we asked them to ripe the old toilet ,which didnt have any problems and were far better than the new ones atleast,? Now they have started allowing pets "dogs" in the second floor too. I donnt have any problems if they donnt bark the whole day.We are planning to move to a higher floor. And its a shame that they havent opened the pool.Come on jefferson folks ! with all the money saved from cutting the water bill( by replacing shower heads, low flow toilet,) reducing maintainence, getting rid of the security guard and all , if the management still cannt afford lifeguards then please remove pool from your amenities list.

My husband and I have lived here for 3 years with our child and we used to like the property alot. We are both professionals and do not feel safe here and also just can not believe that the pool is not opened and probably still wont open. But if you fight for the 50 or so passes for the Sheraton, you can go over there. Last, it is absolutley disgusting that the bases of the toilets were never finished and even my 3 year old childs response always says "GROSS". Too bad because could be an even nicer property than when it was Edgwwater. I know that our lease expires in Sept and some of our friends leases here expire in the fall and we have already looked at other area properties and will definitely be moving. All it has become here is "pretending to listen to the residents" and then absolutly nothing is done and JPI thinks that people here are just forgetting and moving on with their lives." Well we are moving on and moving out. It is a total disgrace that it is the summer, we are all paying for a pool as a key ammenity for almost 4 months and nothing. (PS - dont forget about the laundry rooms and the floors - you can go to a public laundry room that is in better condition than these floors. These are not just people complaining - these are residents who are about where they live with property owners that care only about the rent. Wake up - before you know it people will only be leaving and no one coming into rent...

Could not agree more - nice property, friendly staff but JPI does no follow through on anything - pool, floors, hallways. All that they said would be done has resulted in absolutely nothing. Properties in the area are doing whatever they can do to entice people to move to their units - updated equipment, follow through, BBQ's in the summer - little and big things. Our lease expires in February 2009 and already decided we are moving to another local property in Framingham. Too bade - because it is nice here in many respects with some nice neighbors but we like most people like to be treated well.....
