Best apartment I have lived in From: kteacher13 Date posted: 1/8/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006 1 response   I have lived here now for 8 months and am confused about all the negative comments listed on this site! Yes, there are SOME negative things about this place but compared to my first two apartments, Edgewater Hills is like a kingdom. I live in a rennovated apartment in building C facing the golf course. I would highly reccomend paying the extra $25 a month for the rennovated apartments. You get a beautiful kitchen with hardwood floors and new carpets. We live on the 6th floor so we don't have to worry about neighbors above us. There are fire alarms every now and then but nothing like what I experienced in the college dorms I used to live in. There have probably been 4 since I moved in and like I said that was 8 months ago. There are lots of parking spots available and I am always able to get a spot pretty close to my building. The spots are tight and I do have a few dings on my car which is a bummer because it is new but that can happen anywhere. There are many slobs that live in the building and leave their trash in the elevator or by the front door but management comes by every day and does a great job of keeping the place clean. I have NEVER had a problem with bugs or mice. There are a lot of amenities. I have heard that the pool is beautiful, but I have never gone. They do have a great tennis courts which I have played on frequently. The gym kind of sucks...there isn't any cardio equiptment. We are a young couple just starting out and plan to stay here until we can afford a house. LIke I said, get a top floor newly rennovated apartment, and I think you will be happy here.
