It's now Mar. 26, 3 am, sirens from fire trucks can be heard yet again... yes they did enter the apt. complex. It's a frequent occurrence here.
Do you enjoy the sight of punks driving slowly by, stereos stuck on high and the bass blasting so hard every 20 seconds you get startled'
How about punks who park they new BMW in the middle of the night with the lights on and engine running, circumambulate it in awe, pop the hood and talk about it for hours on end'
High bumps on the parking lot serving any purpose' What bumps - drivers habitually slam into them at 30 miles per hour, never mind pedestrians trying to cross.
Welcome to Edgewater.
It bears all the hallmarks of a ghetto, however not in South Boston as you would have assumed but right here in the west end of town in stark contrast to the golf course adjacent to it or the expensive houses just a few blocks away.
The offscourings of society live here as well as a fair number of professional people who didn't pay attention when they surveyed the area. Apartments are very energy inefficient, dissipate heat at a fast clip.
Concluding thoughts - given the above the rents charged here are way too high and out of line. Better screening and zero tolerance to noisy and disrespectful punks is mandatory if things are to improve
