Would not recommend it

Initially I liked the apartment complex. My apartment was small (600 sq ft) but seemed better than my previous place. I liked the convenience to the Pike. But things changed ... numerous issues occurred and now I would not recommend anyone to live there.
Two fires occurred within two years. I had pigeons nesting on my balcony. I could never use it because they pooped everywhere and made such a mess. I lived on an upper floor and had mice in my apartment. Maintenance was no help on that issue. I had to go buy mouse traps myself and waited almost a week for the exterminator to come. I also had about a hundred hornets in my apartment one Summer ... with the windows closed.
The Heater/AC unit was really old and even though I asked repeatedly they never replaced it. I also used to get snow in through the sliding glass door. One thing that was really disgusting were the elevators ... they smelled of urine.
The deciding factor for my moving out was when I began to fear for my safety. Last year a psycho decided to take a hammer and beat on my door ... twice. He broke the light outside and hit the lock so hard that it had to be replaced. The key would not turn in the lock. Maintenace and the leasing office were very helpful, but that did not make me feel safer.
