There are A LOT of things wrong with Jefferson Hills. After switching to the new management, Jefferson Hills, the new staff is less than helpful and extremely rude and unintelligent- they make you wait for an absurd amount of time, the girls that work there must be straight out of high school and have no training customer service. I've only been living here for 1 year but have already seen a change in the type of tenants that live here. Here's a list of what i think is wrong with this place: 1. The walls have absolutely NO insulation and conversations, tv programs, etc are clearly heard thru the walls 2. The elevators are not well-kept- I walked in one morning to see vomit on the elevator door 3. The sensor/security key to open the building is down at times 4. Maintanance staff is slow to respond 5. Laundry machines breakdown and are very costly 6. Hallways always have a certain rancid odor 7. Parking Spaces are WAY to small
the list goes on.....the only good thing about this place is that it's located conveniently to the highways.

You are completely right, and now with all the construction they are doing you can't live in peace. Everyday when I get home I find dusty all over my apartment!!!!

i completely disagree with you. the new staff is much more helpful and considerate than the last. people just complain because there are finally rules in this place as opposed to the free rain edgewater provided. the maintanance staff does wonders for the size of the property and the rediculous amounts of requests that they recieve. parking spaces are small but the garaged spots are larger if thats your concern get one. the laundry machines have never given me trouble and its convenient to not have to carry quarters around. hallways smell because of the different foods cooked. keep in mind you live in an apartment building.

We've been here for 5 years now. The change since Jefferson took over is mostly negative. The office team is young but the real problem is the lack of communicatin with-in the office. To solve a simple problem, we often have to repeat the situation with each person we talk to down there. As in all offices there are some who try harder than others, and We have learned already which ones are rude and in effective. The maintence of the building has also suffered. The elevators are nasty, often smell of urine, and who knows what else, in response to 8/19, we pay plenty in rent, and the managament should staff for the size of the property they own. The pool was to dirty to use most of the year, and the hot tub often looked like a swamp. As for the "rules" those were not in evidence at the pool, with babys and children taking over the over 16 hot tub much of the day. Also I would say route 9 has nothing over our driveway, where speed and 18 wheelers rule. I would have to guess that 8/19 works for JPI.

I agree with 8/19 posting. They are making so many improvements and from my experiences, they have always been very professional, helpful and considerate considering what property they tookover. No complaints here!
