Beware of management

Everyone seems to be nice but when it comes down to problems they are very defensive and don't do anything about it.
Our two cars got hit in the parking lot during the night and, acc. to the evidence, it was the night guard who did it. No one did anything about it though.
The apt. is very cold during the winter due to big windows and bad insulation. I had to move my son from his bedroom into my bedroom to sleep on a mattress on the floor.
They plow you in during the winter and it takes forever to get out of the parking lot.
When I saw the apt at the beginning it looked nice and cozy; it turned out to be very cold and noisy.

I was amused to read the comments for this community. I lived there in 1993 for 18 l-o-n-g months. It wasn't bad as apts go--never knew my neighbors, etc. I hated the lack of soundproofing. I could hear this girl below who talked on the phone until 3 am. I forget which building I moved into 1st, a great apt with a view of the resevoir. It was summer and all I could hear all night was Rt 9 and Pike traffic. Then I heard every car start as people went to work. I moved after one night to one which faced the back. I think ot was 420D but the view included trees and lots of sun. During the winter I barely used my heat as it warmed so much during the day. It stayed about 70 no matter the temp outside. I recommend a view to the rear. I talked to someone who had a front apt and she paid through the nose for heat. Of course this was before the car dealership was built. We went to protest but Framingham city council didn't give a ----. It ws also before the new management of who I know nothing. Back then there was a terrible roach problem, which it sounds like still exists. The problem was the garbage shutes (how do you spell that?). They would spray them on one floor and they would travel down or up to another. My next apt was the 3rd floor of a house with low-life tenants (there were women there that walked around the block a lot and always gave me a big hello, but that's another story). Anyway they accused me of bringing roaches with me--ME-Mr Clean-and I probably did.
I now do most of my work as a mystery shopper of apt complexes--I did 60 last year. These are a far cry from Edgewater or whatever they call it now. Most prices are 1800 to 2700 a month. They are beautiful communities but I still hear lots of complaints on sites like this. Thin walls, pot smoke in hallways, non-responsive management. I finally found myself a condo in a building where I like almost everyone and I am a trustee. That's right--I'm the decider!- and we try to do it right here.
All I can say is that I hope you move on to better digs. You'll never change where you are and it will just get older and shabbier as time goes by.
