Tenants are a Royal Pain

Edgewater Terrace is now Jefferson Terrace. I moved here prior to its being sold and have seen an obvious downward-spiral in Security, Attitude, Service, & Cleanliness.
It's to the point now that one doesn't have to know what it was like here under the previous owners to feel there is something very undesirable about the place now. For me anyway.
Jefferson Terrace is the place to be if you want to live in what the Administration now calls a "Community of Apartment Homes".
Our "Operations Manager" and her staff on down are fine and appear well-meaning. But the Management people above them assure an Over-all ATTITUDE that makes it all too clear that it's all semantics.
In reality the Management is arbitrary to the point that they must consider the Tenants as obstacles to their real function, which consists mainly of doing plumbing work and saving money.
Oddly enough even the sub-contractor who handles the laundry has picked up on this trend. The machines are undependable, and aren't serviced properly. But the price of using the machines has just been raised. It's like playing the lottery when I put money in the things.
The place is littered constantly; the view from my apartment is beginning to look like a Deli project; there are loud gatherings, no sense that these people are aware of the time of night or the rights of others; I have had unescorted outside tradesmen walk in on me, having been given keys to mine and other apartments. This has happened 5 times.
In addition to the water being shut off many times as part of scheduled maintenance, it has been shut off even more times as a surprise.
Management has just announced that during the next week an outside contractor is going to work in all the apartments; they state that I don't have to be home; and they will not make appointments! We certainly wouldn't want to inconvenience the tradesman.
There have been recent thefts in the lobby, and vandalism as well.
Oh, and they have recently announced an increase in rents. I guess as an incentive to renew our lease.
Hopefully my final Rant: the day after writing the above, a maintenance worker with a key tried to walk in without first checking to see if anyone was home. Turns out he had come to finish what couldn't be done the day before because they ran out of parts. Turns out he's an employee of JPI, he figgers that if he has a key he can simply walk in without knocking. Is there a problem'
We have given Jefferson Terrace notice.

The girls in the management office smile and nod when you speak but they don't do anything about any problems because they claim ' we don't maintenance the washers or dryers, we don't maintenance the elavators, all we do is sit here and take your money ' ugh annoying
