SUMMATION:
-You pay too much for too little.
- The rate changes DAILY- the quality doesn't match the qoute.
-Qoutes are pushed and rushed (a regular scheme-y sales office)
-Weekly Fire Alarms- due to smokey cooking incidents
-On-site Laundry (B bldg.) low quality- broken often.
-Security- inadequate. Broken windows on main doors on a bi-monthly basis, ripped off the wallsecurity keyless pass. ANd often times if you just pull hard the door will open.
-First floor apartments poorly insulated. Your floor feels like a Fan of cool air during the cold winter months.
-Parking Is Fine. They do a good job of clearing properly.
-Mail doesn't always make it to your box, or door, or person.

I consider myself a very well rounded person. Income is lower-middle "class" , Single, patient, and a strong moral compass.
Edgewater was taken over by JPI with the intent that improvement would be made. They are "flipping" a lot of the rooms, with new appliances, carpets, heaters with thermostat, and newly painted walls.

These all appealed to me moving in this past September 2008. I took a 1 bedroom, first floor apartment. 1280/month
There were a couple of things that needed changing in my room. There was no thermostat, and the sliding glass door allowed a strong stream of air to rattle the whole frame. Would allow snow to pile up in the living room.

Maintenance was quick to "resolve" the issue with a roll of foam rope along the bottom edge to prevent the rattle but NOT the stream.

The lack of thermostat was not a big deal, however, the floor models that they show you have a new smaller heater and a thermostat, so I found that deception a bit irritating. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn

I'm sorry but I think you got ripped off...I only pay 865 for a one bedroom 5th floor and I've been there for 6 months and have found nothing wrong inside my apartment
