Great new apartments

My husband and I moved from Union Place at the end of 2007, but wouldn't have if it wasn't so far away from our family. Its in a very convenient location (right near 495, which is not so noisy since they paved it over), but still off the beaten path (there's an apple orchard down the street!). Tenants around you are noisy, but you deal with that when you live in a hotel style complex. The staff was consistent and helpful even after we vacated, and were still friendly as we kept coming back for our mail a month later. We had two cats that tore up the rug outside our bedroom doors, but were never charged to replace it (they didn't even take the money out of our initial pet deposit!) The pool was clean and clear and never too crowded. There was plenty of parking and the area is completely safe, surrounded by a commercial business park. My only complaint about the construction was the tiles they picked for the bathroom and kitchen floors... they were impossible to clean properly, and the shower rod in the master bath is set so high you have to use three rings to lower the curtain enough so that water doesn't get on the floor. Minor design flaws at best. Other than that, they were built in a very appealing way. They had nice cabinets and countertops. The heat and electricty was clean and efficient. I'm sorry that we had to move!
