Oh wow, where do I begin. You aren't even treated like a person here. First of all, they never told us that we would have to leave a $200 deposit with the electric company until it was time to sign the lease. Too late to change your mind of moving here if you wanted to. We asked the electric company why and they said because we are renters they ask for this upfront. What'!'! We never have had to do that at any apartments we ever lived at before this. Secondly, the mailman is afraid to come to the doors. We were waiting for a registered piece of mail and they left a slip in our mailbox. We went to the post office and asked why didn't they ring the buzzer since we were home. They asked for our address and when we told them they said "oh you live at the apartment complex, the mailman doesn't go to the doors there". Third, their snow removal policy is awful. They spent hours and I mean hours to remove 2 inches of snow. They also have a policy where they will beep their horns outside and everyone needs to move their cars so they can plow the parking spaces (even 2 inches of snow!!). If you are planning to be away and have to leave your car behind (in the winter), they ask that you park your car elsewhere. Are you kidding me'!'! Why should you have to move your car to another location than where you live. I wish I was joking about all of this but unfortunately I'm not. Oh and one more thing, the office staff is so incompetent, it can be run better with a group of 10 year olds (I mean that seriously). Stay away from here or you will be like the many people that didn't renew their leases. Good luck in apartment searching, you can do MUCH better!

Yes the $200 is a lot but they having nothing to do with the Municipal rules and also with the mail it is Federal which you should also no they can't change the rules. And if people DID move there cars which is in the lease that you signed then it wouldn't take them so long to do there job. I read these colums as a renter and it is funny what people complain about. Maybe you should rethink living in a Community with so many people if you need things just so. I have always gotten along with the office staff they are all very friendly, I can see how they might get stressed dealing with people like you on a daily bases.

Learn how to spell and use proper English if you want to be taken seriously. I really don't know why I am even going to respond but I need to because of your ignorance. They may not have anything to do with the $200 but they had everything to do with not telling us about it until lease signing time. Secondly, I was not blaming the management about the post office, I was stating a fact about the mail situation. Finally, I do see people move their cars and they still plow like crap.

So move, people like you should live in a place far from people. You put up these comments trying to make Longview look bad and what you should be doing is looking for a new place to live. Have a great day. Please let me know if my grammer is correct this time.

Well, I will say your grammar is better, but sorry I can't say the same about your spelling. This is a board to voice one's opinions and experiences and I did just that. I stated facts and everyone is entitled to their own views whether positive or negative. People like you just like to attack others when they state something that doesn't agree with how you feel. Oh, and by the way, we did find a new place to live. Enjoy your day in the front office of Longview.

Thanks loatheithere3 for your comments. I was considering this place and will take your comments into consideration. I've been living in apts for years and the management always hides at least a few things until you actually move in. It's nice to have these posts and find out BEFORE it's too late. I agree that it is rather pathetic that the office staff has to write all these comments to defend themselves.

I was reviewing the opinions of our renters here on the site. Unfortunately these sites make it diffcult to see the whole picture. I would like to state for the record that the views expressed on this website are not those of the Longview management. In fact, we have chosen not to respond to any comments posted on this site at all since we opened in 2004. If anyone reviewing the comments would like additional information about Longview at Georgetown please feel free to contact our office at 978-352-3811. We will be happy to help to clarify fact from fiction.

POLICE REPORTS DO NOT LIE, however, they office girls can!! I would suggest going to the G-Town police department if you are considering moving to Longview and have them tell you how DISGUSTED they are with that community....THEY WILL NOT LIE!

The whole picture,------ needs to be replaced, and they need to bring in management that will tend to there tenants complaints. You the managers work for us the tenants, you get your piece of cheese from us.
I have never been so mistreated.
Longviews fact and fiction is really turned around.
