Longview at Georgetown
< | >
Longview seems to have come a long way.I am seeing a huge improvement.Ample parking, needs more lighting at night. The staff is helpful and nice.At this time I will rate Longview Superior to most but in a lower price range. No real big complaints, looks like they are putting in another driveway which is a huge bonus, instead of 1 way in 1 way out. They really shouldn't advertise pet friendly, because they have asked some of there tenants to get rid of there dogs, which you just can't get rid of your dog,but they will evict you if you don't BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE A DOG....

I lived there for 1 year and could not wait for my lease to be up!! That place is like the projects and they try to make it sound like it is nice. I moved in and within 5 weeks of being there, 40 apartments were broken into (mine was one of them). Inside job is what it sounded like to me. They suck and I agree, ------ is a horrible and miserable person. I am surprised that she still works there. Oh, and by the way, you can sue her for giving your parents a bad reference. I found them to be VERY unprofessional and you should report her to Dolben. She should not speak to any resident that way, but to speak to two disabled people in that way, just shows she has NO CLASS!! Also, they post all of the wonderful posts on this page themselves, and after I moved out, I was reading this page and found a post that they had signed my name to. I immediately called corporate and the post was removed. Try to get your parents out of there and for anyone who is thinking of Longview, think again, you'll be sorry you moved in!

I am actually really surprised by both of these reviews. I have now lived at Longview at Georgetown for 14 months and have found my experience to be nothing but pleasant. I just renewed my lease for another year. I have talked to most of my neighbors around me who have been here longer than me and they have had nothing but good things to say about the management, maintenance, and ammenities Longview had to offer. When I have visited the management office everyone there has been pleasant, warm, and nothing but professional. I have lived in other apartment communities that I thought were just run of the mill, this place is definitely an upgrade; both apartment quality wise and by the professionalism of the management and maintence staff. The couple times that I have needed some maintenance done to my apartment I found the repairs to be done in a timely fashion, and I was actually surprised in how fast they responded. I just don't know how anyone can consider Georgetown the Projects, this place is only a couple of years old. Again, I am really taken back by these reviews and do not think that this is a fair and accurate depiction of this apartment complex.

Can you believe the person in the first post owns a dog grooming service? Would you trust such a low class individual with the care of your animal after reading that unprofessional rant? Didn't think so.
I question whether that post is even written by an adult, let alone a local business owner who would embarrass themselves by attaching their business to such a post!!

In response to Longview1's comments, I am sorry to hear of your family's misfortunes. It must be very hard to deal with and probably causes you to be angry when you normally wouldn't be....You spoke of respect in your comments...have you and your parents always treated management with the same respect which you demand? You should remember that they are people just like you with feelings that get hurt when they are not treated with respect. I bet if someone attacked you on a website such as this that you would feel attacked and become defensive. Remember that next time you call people unprofessional, rude and whatever else you may have said to them.

I lived here for jsut about 2 years and I totally disagree that this place sucks. I have lived in 6 different apartment complexes in the last 10 years and this place in miles ahead of the places I have lived (Attleboro, Norwood, Braintree, Burlington, Newton, Peabody). I can't say enough about the maintainess staff and the management. All I have to say is..... CONSIDER THE SOURCE.
p.s. I have one of the most common breeds of dog in the US and the owners of that dog grooming company asked me what kind of dog she was.

First this goes to 10/28/07... Learn how to spell. -jsut- is just-and secondly MAINTAINESS is also gnorw,,read that back words and it spells WRONG. What dog grooming company,if your talking about who I think you are those people have done so well and are really loaded... And if you have lived in 6 different places in the last 10 years that is a signal of an unstable person.
Yea,whatever... you only love the place because they were so desperate to take you... People, gather around that person is a clown... can you spell IDIOT :)
