Longview at Georgetown

The apartment layout is nice, however, everything is offset by the smell of the disgusting water. Over the course of my 6 month stay here, the smell has evolved from that of an egg stink bomb, to an open sewer. After numerous complaints to management, who has assured me that "they are working on it" and it "is the town water" there have not been any improvements. I am sure that the management staff who live in the complex do not have the same problem in their apartments. I have never had this problem in any other apartment, nor have I ever had to deal with management that was so indifferent to a problem. My gas bill is high every month since I have to run the water out of every faucet for about 15 minutes each day to get rid of the smell before attempting to take a shower.
Also, if you have a pet, you are restricted to two buildings in the back of the complex. There is nowhere to walk a dog or anywhere else for that matter. The complex is situated off of 95 on a bypass road where 18 wheelers frequently roar by at all hours of the day and night.
Insulation is horrible, you can clearly hear the people above and below you. Police frequently at the complex. A number of cars were recently broken into. Poor lighting in the parking lots.

They are working on the water odor is BS !! They told us that in 2005 when we lived there. That smell was AWFUL. That must be their standard answer. We also complained about the noise from our neighbors, it was like an elephant walking on the floor above us. I think the only positive posts come from the staff there posting as a happy renter.
