I'm writing to let you know how it really is. I had lived there for 7 1/2yrs and I hated every minute of it. If you have small children that is not the place to be. If you have low income that is not the place to be because they frown upon you and treat you differently. Yes it has a pool, but what good is a pool if you feel like you can not even breath. The first time your child gets overly excited because there playing with there friends there pops open the office door yelling at the kids to stop. It is a pool not a prison. How are you going to tell little kids to sit and not make noise when there outside and at a pool seriously. You also have to pay for guest to come to the pool. I can understand the limit of only 2 guest because of the size but to have to pay for them with the prices that they charge for there apartments is ridiculous. One year someone trashed the pool. It was not right they got in trouble for it but because of someones poor judgment they punish you. You can no longer bring in snacks for your children. Not a big deal yes but when they expect your child to sit by the street to eat it is a big deal because they took the picnic table away because they don't want people to gather. If you want to cook and you don't have a grill you have to go by the dumpsters. Who wants to go sit and smell crap all day not me. The same thing if they play at the field next to the pool. Can you not be so loud or do you have to play there. Where do you want them to go. I have had one of there many managers that they go through come up to me and say why don't they walk to the play ground. The closes playground is Stage Fort and I don't know about you but my 6 yr old is not walking to a play ground that is about 5 miles from home just because they don't like kids. They have a basket ball court that used to be open when it was Top of The Harbor. Many people have asked about having them fix it up. Some parents even offered there time to fix it up but there response is we will have to up your rent if we do that, but the last thing I heard is that they were going to make a dog park for people to take there dogs to. There new manager should be running a boot camp because she is not a friendly person. I have witnissed it with a close friend. You have people who get help with there rent your trash in her eyes. She treats you like your a pile of dirt. I don't know about you but I would never live there again. It was allot nicer when it was Top of The Harbor because it was a family friendly invirorment and that is what people need. A place that helps you help you not a prison or training camp.

I have only been here 2yrs and everyone has been great to me in the office. Our kids go t the pool and play with toys. Nobody ever said the kids can't play in the pool. My husband lost his job and we got housing. What are you talking about....the office helped us get the help. The new people always say hello. I would never live in a prison and that is not what it is like here for me and my kids. Grow up.
