Pine Ridge Estates
AVERAGE RATING
< | >
If you value peace and quiet, or even sanity, Pine Ridge is not for you. They lure you in with above average grounds and apartments for the area. Remember, you are visiting the apartment for 5 minutes to see if you want to live there.
After you move in you find out the place is a nightmare. The neighbors (for the most part) are horrible to live with. They show no respect whatsoever.
The walls and floors are ridiculously thin. It amazes you can walk on them and not fall through. Of course this means horrible sound-proofing. Every little thing a person does can be heard. I am not exaggerating here; everything! It is almost if the person was standing next to you would be quieter.
We have lost our hot water numerous times for no reason at all.
And if you think living by the fair in the fall would be nice, wrong! The place becomes more of a nut house than normal.
If you value happiness, a nice apartment, DO NOT LIVE in Pine Ridge. If you are deaf and just want another reason to hate life, live here.

I agree, however if you don't want any of the problems listed above, you shouldn't live anywhere in Greenfield. I lived in a lot of apartments in Greenfield and you'll either have a psychotic landlord that breaks every law in the book and harrasses you for no reason other than their psychosis, the apartment will be crap and you'll everything from your neighbors, you're guaranteed no matter where you live to have a drug dealer as a neighbor. So stay away from this place, and stay away from Greenfield. If you're moving here to work or go to school, trust me it's worth the gas money it will take to drive here and live elsewhere. Either a hill town or Northampton would be a nice choice.

I don't really agree. If you ask your neighbors to be respectful it's usually not a problem. Or if you talk to the ladies in the office and complain it's not all that quiet (not quite) they take care of it. If your neighbor gets a few minor complaints they face eviction (withing means of course)
Seems pretty simple to resolve that problem. I haven't really had to go that far, I find that if you get to know your neighbors it goes a long way.
