Simrah Gardens

Okay. Here's the deal: the construction materials used in Simrah Garden s units are all crap. The floor tiles crack. The door hooks on the bathroom fall off. The building walls use metal studs so forget about hanging any heavy pictures and the walls are ridiculously thin.

The walls are really, REALLY thin. Paper thin. It's that simple. You can hear every step your neighbors take. Every TV show they watch. They can hear everything you say. You will have no privacy ever. I spent six months there and I did everything I could to stay away. I only came home to sleep and even that rarely worked out because of all the noise that could be heard through those walls during all hours of the night.

The floor tile problem is also rather interesting. I was woken up a 7AM one Saturday morning by hammering. Lots of REALLY LOUD hammering coming through my ceiling. I called management to report what I thought was an inconsiderate neighbor. To my surprise they explained to me that every time a tenant lease ends the repair crew goes into the unit to replace the cracked tiles. In order to remove the old tiles they first have to smash them to dust with a hammer. Based on my experience, this took roughly 3 hours to complete the whole process! Three hours of someone beating on a floor with a hammer at 7AM in the morning on a weekend. That's their idea of good scheduling? That s their idea of protecting a tenant s right to peaceful enjoyment as guaranteed in the lease? Shows how much they care about their tenants.

I will never live there again and I would recommend that no one else does either. I hope this was helpful.
