When I first moved to Boston, this was the last place an agent showed me, and I thought $1300 for a studio was crazy. I took it anyway.

My landlady owned the apartment and rented it out for some extra cash. If you can find someone doing that again...TAKE IT. For 1300 a month I got a parking spot in the garage (the last spot at the bottom, but still covered parking.) a huge studio on the 25th floor with a balcony that had a view of the pond and you could also make out the bay in the distance. Heat and AC included, washing in basement, Front desk staff that was great and friendly, enough closets to hide a family of 4, clean halls and good maintenace.

The down side: Average age of owners/renters is about 86. The 'gym' is a joke, although there is a steam room. The pool is usually filled with people standing around talking about their winter home in Boca, thier children, or what they did for their temple to be so wonderful.

If you can tolerate an older crowd, this place is SO worth it.
