HEAT OR HOT WATER, YOU CHOOSE

Unfortunately, you won't be able to use both. The braniacs who designed this facility used a heat system designed for the south. The only way to get hot water in the winter is to shut off the heat half an hour before you want to bathe. When you already have to get up at 4:30 to commute to Boston this doesn't really seem reasonable. Management's response' We aren't going to do anything about it, and we didn't have to tell you about this when we signed the lease. The Lawrence plumbing inspector says that he told them this system wouldn't work when they built the place. Our bedroom also has 3 outside walls and apparently they insulated like we are in the South. If we set the living room at 70, we get 60 in the bedroom. So our choice is sweat inducing heat in most of the apartment, or waking up with icicles on our noses. For the amount of rent, with Lawrence car insurance, you are probably better off elsewhere. Honestly, before this experience I would have recommended the place. It's cute, quiet, nice and fairly comfortable. But I've never heard of management so rude in my life after this incident.
