If you're reading this, you're probably wondering what I think of Hilltop Gardens... well I try not to.

It's all management. We've lived here for a few months, and we have asked multiple times for things to be done like:

1) Our closet lightbulb to be fixed. You can pull the string and it's stuck. If you want to use the light you have to screw in the bulb by hand, and get zapped.

2) Two plugs in the bedroom that will not hold a electrical outlet. You can plug something in, but it just falls out of the socket.

3) A non- working screen door. The door is off track, and has square wheels that need to be replaced.

4) No doorknob into the bedroom

5) The drawer on the stove does not shut, and frequently causes stubbed toes.

We've complained to management, and put in work orders multiple times, and absolutely nothing has gotten done. The person who works on site has the easiest job of all. Work 10-2 sitting on her ass, ignoring peoples complaints and talking on the phone. She has a horrible attitude towards her tenants and acts like it's our fault things are broken. These things I've written have been broken since we moved in, and nothing has been done.

Not to speak of the night our hot water knob in the bathtub broke and would NOT shut off. We complained about it prior how it was not shutting off correctly. It broke off on a Friday night, and we had to practically beat on someone to get it fixed.

Also the yard maintainance is extremely poor. They shut off the pool after Labor Day and let it get green and disgusting before covering it. This wouldn't be so bad, if it wasn't the very first thing you saw as you turned into the apartment complex. I wouldn't invite anyone over for 2 months, because it was such an embarrassment.

Lets go onto the "it's a quiet adult complex" joke that I was fed when we moved in. Every night you can sing along with the songs on the radio 3 houses down. You can also attempt to go to sleep with screaming and shouting. Quiet does not nescesarily come to mind here.

Also someone was nice enough to recently leave a broken car which was taking up two spaces in the parking lot for 3 weeks.

Basically stay out if you can. I've never lived in such a place as this. The apartment is nice, but the management is from hell. I'm glad to read that I'm not the only one with these problems. Too bad we can't form some sort of group...
