The management company of Whitney Carriage Park has changed recently from Vam Emden Corp to Princeton Properties.
Almost immediately with the change in managment the quality of living here has taken a turn for the worse. Although Princeton Prop has made some improvements to the property they are no consolation for the change in management. The newly painted walls in the long hallways are dark and dreary. Although the new carpeting looks nice, they wont last long since they are no longer vacummed frequently or properly.
This complex had, at one point, at least 5-7 full time (friendly) employees who meticulously maintained the property. It was very clean and nicely landscaped. The property is now maintained by contractors who really take no care in the property.
Since the change in management you will see the following from day to day: Trash in the parking lot, stairwells and common areas. Residents working on cars in the parking lots, drug deals, and loitering. New tenants located throughout the complex playing loud music, slamming doors, lots of noise(during the day and late night) in the halls and propery, loud and junky cars, and lazy security that tend to block acess to parking with their vehicles and hang around more than anything else.
I am paying about $900/Mo for a 2BR 2Full Bath appt and I know that others looking to rent here have been asked to pay at least $1,200/mo.
This is very disappointing to see and I will be leaving soon. Whitney Carraige Park was a very nice place to live, but that has now changed. I am affraid it is in a downward spiral.

Duh Idiot! The cheaper apartments are naturally going to cost less; you $900 apartment is one of the smallest. For bigger apartments, you naturally pay more. The $1200 apartments are HUGE with GIGANTIC closets and tons of space

I dont think that name calling is appropriate. This person just wanted to get a main point across, in which you failed to see. She basically wanted to explain that now under new management, Whitney Carriage isn't as nicely maintained as it once was. The $900 range also has a big layout and has big closets. Yes, it may be smaller than the $1200/month apartments but that wasn't this persons main focus.
