I have lived at Whitney Carriage for over a year. We first moved into our apartment and enjoyed it thoroughly. My 2 year old son has ample room to run around and play (first floor). Unfortunately being on the first floor we had water in our apartment a total of 7 times, either from leaks from the above apartment or from poor workmanship of water drainage outside the building. These issues were not fixed by the original property managers who were employed at that time. By the time we had ants in our apartment I had had enough, and a new property management had taken on Whitney. We decided to give another apartment a try, as this had been our only concern up to this point. We enjoy our new apartment (though due to poor workmanship the central air did not work in our building all summer). We do have minor annoyances, like the swimming pool hours (too short!) but overall Whitney Carriage is a nice place to live. The hallways are well kept, usually you can only smell what someone is cooking for supper! And so far new management has been very accommodating to repair concerns. Parking is always available. Everyone is friendly, both employees and neighbors. I did have a problem with other children at the pool, but for the most part children are well behaved who are under adult supervision!
